DTV Packages
Our packages center around two "Key" components, the Tandberg 5710 MPEG2 encoder and the Axcera transmitter line.
The Tandberg 5710 was picked due to its inclusion of the Dolby AC-3 audio encoder scheme. This allows you
to get on the air without purchasing the expensive external Dolby AC-3 encoder. This can save you $10,000.00
- $20,000.00 on encoding.
The Axcera (formerly ITS & ADC) were chosen due to their quality of construction and their
efficiency. While other manufactures only get 25% of the rated power of their analog transmitters
for digital, Axcera gets 50%, making the dollar per watt much more affordable than so-called
"economy" transmitters.
